Bali’s Rituals, Your Renewal

I’m Gizel, a certified Yin Yoga and Kundalini Yoga teacher, trained in the serene and spiritually rich environment of Bali, Indonesia. With years of experience, I guide individuals on transformative journeys to restore balance and reconnect with their inner selves. My teachings blend the deep relaxation of Yin Yoga, the energy activation of Kundalini Yoga, and the healing power of Tibetan sound bowls to create a deeply restorative experience. Meditation and mindfulness are key aspects of my sessions, helping students cultivate awareness, peace, and clarity in their lives.

Our Services

  • Also known as singing bowls or Himalayan bowls, Tibetan singing bowls are said to promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties, including stress relief. When played, a Tibetan singing bowl vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone.

Stress relief: Some research supports the use of Tibetan singing bowls as a way to promote relaxation and reduce feelings of anxiety.

Improving sleep: Singing bowl therapy has been linked to decreased anxiety and tension, so it may help improve sleep.

Lowering blood pressure: A preliminary study published in the American Journal of Health Promotion in 2014 examined the benefits of starting a directed relaxation session with 12 minutes of singing bowl sounds. It found a greater reduction in systolic blood pressure and heart rate compared to silence before the session.

Reducing depression: One study linked singing bowl therapy to improvements in mood and suggested that this approach may be a low-cost way to help reduce symptoms of depression.

Stimulating the immune system: Some also claim that Tibetan singing bowls can stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves.

Pain relief: One study looking at chronic spinal pain found that people treated with singing bowl therapy experienced significantly decreased pain intensity as well as decreased stress.

Balancing and harmonizing the body: Many proponents claim that the vibrations of a singing bowl can produce beneficial changes in the body by "harmonizing" the cells and "balancing the body's energy system.

  • Physical Benefits:

Improves Flexibility & Mobility – Targets deep connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, and joints), enhancing overall flexibility.

Enhances Circulation – The long-held poses promote blood flow and oxygenation throughout the body.

Supports Joint Health – By gently stressing the joints, Yin yoga helps maintain their lubrication and mobility.

Encourages Deep Relaxation – Slow, passive stretches help release tension stored in muscles and fascia.

Improves Posture & Spinal Health – Lengthens and decompresses the spine, reducing back pain and promoting better alignment.

    Mental & Emotional Benefits:

Reduces Stress & Anxiety – The meditative nature of Yin yoga calms the nervous system, reducing cortisol (stress hormone) levels.

Enhances Mindfulness & Presence – Holding poses for extended periods encourages deep awareness and a meditative state.

Encourages Emotional Release – Stored emotions can surface and be processed, leading to emotional healing.

Promotes Better Sleep – The relaxation response triggered by Yin yoga can improve sleep quality.

    Energetic & Spiritual Benefits:

Balances the Body’s Energy Flow – Stimulates meridians (energy pathways) in the body, enhancing vitality.

Deepens Connection with the Self – Encourages introspection and self-awareness.

Supports Meditation & Stillness – Helps cultivate patience, acceptance, and inner peace.

Because Yin yoga is slow-paced and deeply restorative, it’s especially beneficial for those who experience high stress, practice intense workouts, or seek a meditative approach to movement.

  • Combines the principles of Yin Yoga with the energy flow concepts from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), focusing specifically on the meridian—the energy channels in the body that correspond to different organs and emotional states. This practice uses long-held postures and mindful breathing to stimulate and balance the energy in specific meridians, promoting not only physical flexibility but also emotional and energetic healing.

In this practice, each pose targets specific meridians, allowing you to work on both the physical and energetic levels. By activating and balancing these meridians, you can help to release blockages, restore energy flow, and promote deep relaxation and healing.

Long-held poses,  Meridian-Focused Postures, Use of Props, Breath and Mindfulness, Energetic Focus

Yoga Nidra based on meridians integrates the practice of traditional Yoga Nidra with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), focusing on the energy pathways in the body known as meridians. Meridians are channels through which vital energy (Qi or Chi) flows, and each meridian corresponds to specific organs and bodily functions.

In this approach, the Yoga Nidra practice is tailored to clear blockages, activate, and balance the energy flow within the body's meridians, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. This practice helps restore harmony to the body’s energy system, allowing for deeper relaxation and healing.

  • A hands-on therapy technique used to treat myofascial pain—pain caused by tight, restricted muscles and fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs). Myofascial Release focuses on relieving tension in the fascia, a network of connective tissue that can become tight, restricted, or “knotted” due to injury, stress, poor posture, or repetitive movement patterns.

    What is Myofascial Release (MFR)?

Myofascial Release is a gentle, sustained pressure technique applied to the fascia to release these restrictions. The goal is to stretch and lengthen the fascia, improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function. The technique works by applying pressure to specific points where the fascia has become tight or restricted and holding that pressure until the tissue begins to soften and release.

  • Reiki is an energy that flows through all living things. When this energy is blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to physical, emotional, or mental discomfort. A Reiki practitioner uses their hands to channel healing energy to the client, either by gently placing their hands on or above the body. This process is said to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and help the body’s natural healing processes.

  • A Sanskrit word that translates to "prana" (life force or vital energy) and "yama" (control or regulation). In essence, pranayama refers to the control of breath and is a core practice in yoga. Through specific techniques, pranayama helps regulate the flow of prana (energy) in the body, leading to physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.

    The Practice of Pranayama:

Pranayama involves various breathing techniques that help to regulate, deepen, and control the breath. It’s not just about breathing but consciously directing the breath to activate different parts of the body and mind. The breath is closely connected to the nervous system, so controlling the breath can have profound effects on relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
